Daniel Martinez, MBA, CFP®, CIM®, FCSI®, FEA®
Born and raised in Mexico, Daniel moved to Nanaimo, BC to attend Vancouver Island University (VIU) in 2007. After completing his MBA, Daniel joined Integral Wealth Securities – Nanaimo Branch. Daniel is a Wealth Manager focusing most of his time in advanced financial planning working with high net worth individuals across the country.
Daniel holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Tamaulipas in Mexico and an MBA from VIU. Daniel is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) professional, a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®), a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®), and a Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA). Daniel was part-time instructor of Finance at VIU for 11 years.
Daniel is the current Vice-Chair of Aspengrove School and previously served as Chair of the Nanaimo Foundation. He is also a Past President of the Young Professionals of Nanaimo (YPN), and a former Treasurer of Innovation Island. In 2014 he received the prestigious Vancouver Island’s Top 20 Under 40 Business and Community Achievement Award.
Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife, Tasha, and their two children. During the winter months, his family skis regularly at Mount Washington, while summers are typically spent exploring and travelling together.
