David Franklin
CEO / Amera Securities LLC
David is the CEO of Amera Securities LLC (Amera). Amera is a FINRA licensed broker dealer wholly owned by the same parent company, Integral Capital Partners Inc. Amera is primarily engaged in private placements and corporate M&A advisory work. David currently has responsibility for both the business and regulatory side of Amera. This includes overseeing the firm’s roster of financial advisors and accredited investor clients. David also works in tandem with Integral’s banking team to foster US distribution and to facilitate cross border business on behalf of Canadian and US issuers.
David previously worked at Integral in an institutional sales role. Subsequently, he served as CEO of Sprott Private Wealth, overseeing $3B of client assets. After leaving Sprott David acquired Amera in 2019. Over his career David has been directly involved in equity research, investment banking, wealth management, institutional sales and fund marketing and management. David holds a Bachelor (Hons) in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
